Crowned by a clock tower, the Academic Arts Community contains student
residential rooms, offices for some honors faculty, members and staff,
a library, computer center, and classrooms and seminar rooms where some
honors courses are held.
It integrates the learning and living
environments in a manner similar to that of the residential colleges at
Oxford and Cambridge in Great Britain.
All standard rooms within the Academic Arts Community come equipped with the following amenities (in a double occupancy room):
- two twin beds
- two desks
- two desk chairs
- two closets
- two bureaus
- two windows with blinds
- high-speed Ethernet Internet connection
- free expanded basic cable TV service
- 24-hour quiet study lounge in the David L. Boren Library/Lounge
