22. What are the residence hall rooms like? |

Tower rooms have suite-style bathrooms. Typically, four people share a bathroom and the responsibilities of cleaning it. The Quads have community-style bathrooms. However, a housekeeper cleans community bathrooms on a daily basis.
Each room is furnished with two twin beds, desks and study chairs. In addition, Expanded Basic Cable TV is provided in each residence hall room. All facilities are smoke free and convenient. Within the residence halls are such dining options as Burger King, Taco Mayo, Block and Barrel Deli, and Couch Restaurants. The Huston Huffman Physical Fitness Center also is located near the residence halls for easy student access.
With the exception of super suites, residence hall rooms house one or two students each. Each student has direct Internet access in the room through direct connections to the university’s networking backbone. Each student will need an Ethernet card in his or her personal computer. Also, wireless internet is presently available in Adams and Couch Centers. Students who do not have computers may use the 24-hour computer labs available on-site. The university provides students with a flexible OU e-mail account. The HUB, www.hub.ou.edu, is students’ primary electronic link to the campus community.
