5. Are students required to live in the residence halls? Print

Regents’ policy requires that all single, freshman students who are younger than 20 years of age, who do not have at least 24 hours of college credit, or who have not lived in university residence halls for at least two semesters live in a university residence hall for one academic year. Exemptions from this policy may be requested if a student is living with a parent within 50 miles, married, or has a special circumstance warranting the exemption. Any questions regarding this process, please contact Debbie Wells at (405) 325-1284.
