On-campus living is a unique experience in and of itself. Furthermore,
on-campus living in each center or apartment community becomes an even
more involved and special occurrence for students.
Residence Halls
Adams Center is comprised of four separate towers: Muldrow Tower,
McCasland Tower, Johnson Tower and Tarman Tower. On the ground floor of
Adams Center you will find a Burger King restaurant, as well as the
Sooner Malt Shop. The Housing Learning Center is also located in Adams
Center if you need a little extra assistance with academic subjects.
Walker Center is home to Xcetera, OU's own convenient store that
accepts cash, sooner sense and debit/credit cards. Students from
across campus utilize this very hand resource. Walker is 12 stories
tall and boasts a 24-hour computer lab. Floors in this center often
organize their own intramural sports teams to compete against students
in other centers.
Couch Center, located right next door to Couch Restaurants, is a 12
story tall residence tower. Students across campus make use of Couch
Center's 24-hour computer lab, equipped with scanners and a color
copier. The Housing Center Student Association office is housed on the
ground floor of Couch, as is Couch Express, a full service snack stop
that accepts cash, meal plan points, sooner sense and credit/debit
cards.
Four, 4-story buildings (called the Quads) and the Academic Arts
Community are Cate Center. Each Quad is broken down into houses, with
each house offering its own unique environment. Cate Main, the social
lounge and food court building, has various dining establishments. From
the savory Cinnabon cinnamon roll, to fresh baked pizza, Cate Main food
court has something for everyone. The Academic Arts Community houses
some of OU's Honors College offices, residential rooms for students, a
library, classrooms and a host of other important assets.
On-Campus Apartments
The University of Oklahoma also operates OU Traditions Square East
& West apartment communities, along with Kraettli Apartments.
OU Traditions Square East & West apartments provide students with
the amenities and benefits of on-campus living, while maintaining the
freedom of off-campus experiences.
Kraettli Apartments provide a traditional apartment set up, with each apartment being 2 bed/1 bath.
