A focus group is designed to get people of varying opinions together to hear their thoughts and ideas on certain subjects. Housing and Food Services has hosted several focus groups in the past to better understand our residents' perceptions and suggestions on campus living, activities, programs and dining.

We also use these focus groups as an avenue to allow students to explain what they like most about on-campus housing communities as well as hearing their input on how they may want things to change. We talk with current residents of the Residence Halls as well as OU Traditions Square apartment communities once a semester. Signs are posted and details are inserted in the monthly housing student newsletter, MySpot, to inform students when focus groups will be held during the semester. You want to be heard and we want your opinions! Everyone wins.
