Welcome parents! We are excited your student has decided to make the University of Oklahoma their new home away from home. We hope you will use this site to become familiar with everything the university has to offer you and your student. We have included an H&F overview just for parents.
On-campus living contributes to higher levels of faculty-student interaction and peer support, better academic and social integration, and also greatly impacts higher college retention. The University of Oklahoma Housing and Food Services provides many services that also positively impact your students' experience, such as our Faculty-In-Residence Program , 24-hr monitored quiet study areas, and the Housing Center Student Association.
We have provided links to the left side of the screen on pertinent information just for parents of OU students. The information provided here details many of the experiences, opportunities and benefits your student will receive.
Recently, the University of Oklahoma was ranked among the Top Ten Public Best Value Colleges in an article by The Princeton Review. Please click here to find out why.
The Loyalty Program is designed to reward those students who remain in university housing from academic year to year. As long as your student is loyal to us, we will be loyal to them by offering discounted monthly room rates, special after hours events and free prizes. The Loyalty Program also offers special family housing rates for families with multiple students living in our residence halls and/or OU Tradition Square at the same time. For more information on what all the Loyalty Program provides and further details on how much your student may save, please click here .
Please give us your feedback about this web site. What information would you like to see added? How can we be more helpful to you? Contact us by using the staff directory here.
