Basic Plus Apartment
The Basic Plus apartments located in the Kraettli complex provide a furnished apartment, bills paid, internet access, local phone service and twice-a-week cleaning services. This apartment is move-in ready and fully equipped with bed and bath linen; silver, dish, and cookware; kitchen utensils, coffee pot, microwave, broom, mop, vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies. Guests occupying this apartment will enjoy all the amenities available to Sooner Suites guests that include, but are not limited to: continental breakfast, passes to recreation center and pool, parking passes, television/VCR/cable, valet service, and 24-hour guest service desk. The cost is $750 a month.

Traditions West Apartment Suites

Tradition West Apartment Suites guests enjoy deluxe accommodations in a newly constructed complex. Apartments are available in 4-bedroom/2 bath or 2-bedroom/2 bath floor plans. The apartment suites are move-in ready with all the conveniences of home and fully furnished. The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot; cookware, utensils, service for four, and kitchen linen. Washer and dryer are located just off the kitchen. A television and DVD player are located in the living room and the apartments have high speed and wireless internet capabilities. Cleaning equipment and supplies are provided by the hotel along with twice a week cleaning services. Guests at Traditions West enjoy all the amenities of the Sooner Suites. The cost for these premium accommodations is $1,200 a month for a 2 bed floor plan and $1400 a month for a 4 bed floor plan.

All reservations at Sooner Suites are based on availability. Reservations are made through the Sooner Suites property, whether it is for one night or several months. Agents are ready to assist you in selecting your best housing option. When you are a guest of Housing and Food Services/Sooner Suites, you will discover a diverse and international community. Our residents come from all over the world, as do our guests. The services we provide are clean, safe, and convenient. Guest housing offers an opportunity for university-sponsored guests and their families to enjoy the experience our unique community provides. We meet the needs of these guests by providing fully furnished, spacious, and convenient on-campus accommodations. Meal plans are also available to university guests. Several OU dining establishments across campus are open during the academic year, as well as throughout the summer.

Eligibility for Extended Stay Apartment Accommodations

A resident of Guest Housing in the Kraettli or Traditions apartments must have a recognized affiliation with the University of Oklahoma using one of these qualifications:
- Employed by The University of Oklahoma or from funds disbursed through the University. Including but not limited to:

Post Docs or Post Doctoral Exchange student
Visiting professor
Visiting scientist
Researcher
Scholar
Visiting intern
Fulbright exchange faculty scholar
PhD candidates week-end studies or dissertation presentation
Visiting graduate students being recruited
International visitors to an university offices
Conference or workshop attendees
New university staff – temporary until permanent home is available

Check-in and Checkout Procedures

All guests check in and out at the Sooner Suites office at 1775 Maple Ave, Cottage 4.

Payments

Depending on individual arrangements, payments can be made through direct bill to University departments or outside organizations or with credit cards or cash.

Parking

All Sooner Suites guests are provided with a parking permit at check in.
