Everyone can do something to make the world better.

From our high efficiency, energy saving fluorescent lighting to our use of locally grown produce, Housing and Food Services is getting greener all the time!

An intense recycling competition between housing centers occured in September as part of Look Local, h&f Green Week 2009. Congrats to Adams Center, McCasland Tower, Floors 10-12 for recycling more paper, plastic and aluminum than the other housing centers!

Our commitment to social responsibility incorporates seemingly small things throughout the year, such as Forest Stewardship Council certified copy/printer paper, to projects much larger, such as developing a composting program with the city of Norman. Below are several other initiatives by Housing and Food Services, that are not only good for you, but also good for the environment.
