Jessica Angelique Marie Sickman, Housing and Food Services female PSG, is pictured to the right.
Birthday:
February 20, 1988
Hometown:
McKinney, Texas
Major/Minor:
I am double majoring in Supply Chain Management and Nursing along with
getting a minor is psychology... I know it is kind of a random
combination!
Why you chose to attend OU:
Well my grandparents went here and taught here, and then my parents
came here, so it was pretty much known that I would follow the family
tradition! Plus I love OU! Who wouldn't want to be a Sooner?
Campus Involvement:
RUF/NEK Lil Sis and BIG EVENT Exec (Senior Operations Staff)
Why I like living and dining on campus:
I love living on campus because it makes life so much easier.
Everything is in walking distance! Dining on campus is awesome because
you can just use your meal plan and not have to worry about carrying
around cash. Plus there are so many options, AND the food is amazing!
Favorite place to eat on campus:
Hmmm that’s a tough one! I would have to say either Crossroads in the Oklahoma Memorial Union or Couch Restaurants!
Favorite place to study on campus:
There are so many different places I like to study. If I had to give
my top favorites, either the Bizzell Library (in Bookmark Cafe or the
4th floor), the OMU, or under one of the big trees in the South Oval on
a beautiful spring day!
Why you like being a PSG:
I like being a PSG because I get to give tours of all the different
residence halls and campus dining areas! I get to help people make one
of the most important decision of their life... coming to OU!
Hobbies:
I enjoy going to any OU sporting event (especially football) or any
Dallas team (Cowboys, Mavs, Stars, and Rangers) sporting event. I also
love hanging out with friends and family, cooking, traveling, getting
lost and finding my way back. It pretty much just comes down to
whatever I feel like doing at the moment!
The superpower you wish you had:
That’s a tough one too! I guess it would be the ability to fly. With
growing up in the Dallas area, the traffic there is horrible all the
time. It would just save so much time if I was able to fly everywhere
instead of sitting in two hours of traffic to go a few miles!
