Couch Restaurants and its nearby towers were part of the expansion and modernization of the University's residence halls in 1967. The complex is named for one of OU's most beloved citizens, Glenn C. Couch, a former botany professor who became dean of University College. The restaurant can seat 750 patrons at one time.

Originally a single large dining area, the restaurant is now divided into 14 unique restaurant concepts with multiple seating style and dining areas under one roof. Tremendous renovations began on Couch Restaurants in Fall 2008 with a Grand Opening Ceremony in Fall 2009. Couch Restaurants now offers wi-fi, a full-service coffee shop as well as community center.   OU guests and students truly enjoy the ultimate community dining experience.

From traditional Greek gyros to pulled-pork sandwiches and made-from-scratch tortilla chips and queso, you will find an array of delectible options in Couch Restaurants, all for one great price.
