Welcome, 歡迎, welkom, bienvenue, willkommen, υποδοχή, benvenuto, 환영, boa vinda, добро пожаловать, bienvenidos!
On behalf of my colleagues in Housing and Food Services, welcome to the University of Oklahoma and to your campus home. We're very glad you are here and hope you will have a wonderful year!
Our goal in H&F is to provide services and opportunities that will enrich your University experience.
I encourage you to take advantage of our many excellent services.
I also encourage you to become involved in your housing community. Participate in your center's activities such as house/floor intramurals and Housing Center Student Association.
This is an exciting time, but it can be a challenging time as well.
As a resident, you have certain rights:
- To be treated with respect
- To be able to sleep and study in your room
- To have use of facilities that are clean and comfortable
- To be free to be yourself as you explore the richness that the OU experience has to offer
As a member of this community you have a responsibility to provide feedback to us so we can continually improve the experience for you and for those that come after you. You also agree to abide by and support its standards, which are in place to protect the rights of all community members. Resident Advisers (RAs), Programming Assistants (PAs), Resident Directors (RDs) and Center Coordinators (CCs) work with residents to affirm a positive living and learning experience for all residents. Please become acquainted with the staff in your building or center as soon as possible, and seek them out when you need help or advice. Of course, the staff will enforce the community standards when necessary. Again, I'm very glad you're here and I wish you great success!
— Bill Henwood, Director of Housing and Food Services
